Aqua School - 3 – 5 yrs – An introduction into the class and pool environment, developing confidence and basic knowledge through fun and games

High Tides - Beginners from 5 yrs. Pupils will be taught a level of independence in the water, and aim towards unassisted movement through the water on their front and back.

Rip Team - Pupils must be able to swim 5m on their front and back unaided. This class will develop basic skills and movement on front and back.

Mighty Waves – Pupils must be able to swim 10m backstroke and have an understanding of both alternating and simultaneous leg action on the front. This class will develop all the major strokes and introduce elements of water safety.

Water Jets – Pupils must be able to swim a minimum of 10m using frontcrawl, backstroke and breaststroke. This class concentrates on stroke technique, leading to further distances being achieved efficiently.

Surf Stars – Pupils must be able to swim 50m, demonstrating good stroke technique for 25 m on both front and back. Classes continue with stroke development, an introduction to competition turns, and water safety skills.

The Swimmers – Pupils must be able to swim 50m in backstroke, breaststroke and front crawl and have a knowledge of butterfly. This class offers advanced stroke improvement, exercises to increase stamina, competition starts and turns
